Valencia
Valencia is a beautiful Mediterranean city that, thanks to its mild climate, can be enjoyed all year round. The food is excellent, while the atmosphere is extremely relaxed. The city's attractions include everything from thousands of year-old ruins to futuristic-looking buildings of all architectural styles. If you arrive in Valencia hoping to learn Spanish, you're in for a bit of a shock. Most of the time you will hear people speaking something that sounds more like Portuguese mixed with a bit of French. This is a Valencian language, and most people born here speak it. Of course, Spanish is also spoken, which is also the official language, but just to keep in mind when you hear something different :)Valencia is probably not the first city on your list when you think of Spain and most people choose cities like exciting Barcelona, the capital Madrid or the like, but Valencia, like any city, has its own peculiarities that you can't find anywhere else. Valencia has the craziest festivals, Valencians will proudly tell you that paella originally comes from Valencia and only they do paella right.
The beaches are absolutely amazing and not many people know that. Valencia is an extremely creative city filled with art and music, the old town is full of amazing architecture and lovely cafes.Definitely our recommendation if you want to experience something special.
